Misty Cascades

Entire estate hosted by the Anaya Villas team
Misty Cascades sits at Jambrung in the Karjat hills, on a slope that faces the Sahyadri escarpment head-on. Through the monsoon a line of waterfalls opens up across that rock face — you can count them from the pool deck, and the villa takes its name from them.
The pool is infinity-edge, set on a stone deck with a gazebo at one end and a lawn running alongside. Below it the house has a large non-air-conditioned hall and a balcony with a swing, both looking out at the same view of the falls and the water.
Four air-conditioned bedrooms on the first floor hold seven king-size beds between them. Three rooms have two kings each and take four guests plus two extra; the fourth has a single king for two plus two extra. Every room is ensuite with a geyser, and each one opens onto its own sitout.
On the ground floor there is a living room with three-seater sofas and its own bathroom, and a dining area on the lower level that opens onto the garden. Indoors there is table tennis, carrom, cards and board games. A barbeque night or a guided nature trek can be arranged on request.
There is a caretaker on site at all times, an inverter for the power cuts that come with the hills, and WiFi throughout. Pets are welcome and alcohol is allowed. Bhimashankar trekking, Kothaligad fort and Solanpada dam are all within reach for a day out.
