Dolce Villa

Entire estate hosted by the Anaya Villas team
Carpe Diem is a four-bedroom private-pool villa in Lonavala, built across two levels with a wide paved deck, a manicured lawn and a pool that runs along one edge of the property. It sits against a wooded hillside, which is what gives the upper balcony its view — coconut palms in the foreground and the hills behind, particularly good in the monsoon when the whole slope turns green.
The house is built for a group that wants to spread out. The ground floor is one long living space with two separate seating areas, a chandelier-lit lounge at one end and a family sitting room at the other, opening straight onto the deck through wide doors. There is a formal dining table for eight, a full kitchen, and a covered veranda between the house and the lawn that stays usable even when it rains.
All four bedrooms are air-conditioned with king beds and ensuite bathrooms. Two of them are glass-walled rooms that look directly into the greenery, which is the detail most guests remember. The bathrooms are finished in dark marble with backlit mirrors. There is an additional twin-bed room for children or extra guests, and the villa is set up for celebration bookings — birthdays, anniversaries and small gatherings — with decor arranged on request.
Outside, the pool is lit at night with a waterfall feature at one end, and the lawn holds an outdoor lounge set. The paved forecourt takes several cars. Because Lonavala sits about two hours from Mumbai on the expressway, Carpe Diem works as a Friday-evening departure — you can leave after work and be at the pool the same night.
